Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals
Tibetan hand cymbals called "Ting-sha" or Ding sha, are apart of the celestial orchestra, played by goddesses of dance, music and song. The Tingsha are individually handcrafted by the ancient Tibetan method of sand-casting. After casting, each individual Tingsha is skillfully tuned by hammering around the thick outer rim to create a perfectly matching pitch for each pair. The bell metal used in the Tingsha is made of a pure bronze alloy of copper and tin with a white metal component of zinc and nickel. This is what gives the chimes their perfect pitch clarity!
There are swirling dragons patterned into the Tingsha. The Dragon is one of the most powerful and revered symbols in Feng Shui. Dragons represent strength, goodness, and the spirit of change and transformation. Qi is described as the Cosmic Breath of the dragon. A well placed dragon can inspire and uplift you throughout your own personal growth and challenges.
These bells measure 2 1/2" in diameter with a 15" cord between them. They come in a beautiful pouch.
Feng Shui Cures: Tibetan Buddhists use sound to bring one's attention to the present. Hand-tuned, the sound is resonant and penetrating, and is a perfect vehicle to draw one's mind into focus. The sound is known also to be spiritually cleansing. Dragons can be placed in your living room, home office, or study; in the East or Southeast corner or anywhere the metal element is required.

EMF Blocking Necklace
Electromagnetic fields are present everywhere in our environment but are invisible to the human eye. Electric fields can be produced by the local build-up of electric charges in the atmosphere associated with thunderstorms. They are also produced by man-made sources including X-rays, the electricity that comes out of every power socket, various kinds of higher frequency radio waves via TV antennas, computers, microwaves, radio stations or mobile phone base stations.
Effects on the general health of the public have attributed a diffuse collection of symptoms to low levels of exposure to electromagnetic fields at home. Reported symptoms include headaches, anxiety, suicide and depression, nausea, fatigue and loss of libido.
Black Tourmaline (Schorl) is the best crystal to use against the ill effects of low frequency and high frequency electromagnetic waves (EMF) and protects against smog, radiation, psychic attacks and repels all kinds of negative energy. It grounds energy as it is connected to the Root/Base Chakra. When the tourmaline is rubbed it becomes charged with magnetic electricity.
Wear this necklace when using your computer, microwave or cell phone. Place this necklace in a room to disperse tension and stress. Use this necklace on appliances, your computer, microwave or as a "cell phone charm." It is suggested to use this EMF Blocking Necklace when you feel surrounded by negativity. Tourmaline is a valuable stone for crises and for periods of extreme stress. Helps you defend against debilitating diseases. Strongly suggested for people with weakened immune systems.

Bagua/Reiki Grid Sets
This is a necessity for any feng shui, reiki or energy healer! Many Energy Workers add the subtle vibrations of stone energy as a complement to their
healing sessions or daily lives. Usually this includes the laying on of the appropriate colored stones to coordinate with the Bugua areas, Chakra centers, Aura layers, meditating with a particular stone, or wearing the stones as jewelry when the inspiration hits. There are, however, even more uses when stones are set up in a 'Grid' and are properly 'activated'.
Bagua Grids are a way to arrange the stones in a sacred geometric pattern. They are then consciously 'activated' by connecting a 'line of Light' between the stones so that they radiate an energy field in the immediate environment in which they are constructed or are essential for distant healing. Our sets have been graciously Reiki-charged and blessed by Dr.Luna Wells. Create a bagua in any area where you need some help.
Made by nature, each beautiful set includes 6 select tumblestones or points, 1 center stone, 1 crystal wand, 1 Reiki Grid and Complete Instructions. We have designed several Crystal Grids for specific healing and manifesting.

Cloisonné Bowls
Cloisonné, also known as cloisonné enamel, is the decorative art of applying enamel of all colors to the surface of a copper or bronze object which is then fired to become a bright and colorful work of art. This artistic technique was transmitted to China from the West and reached its peak of perfection as a result of the concerted efforts of Chinese artisans. Chinese cloisonné thereupon became the standard by which to measure the quality and appraise the beauty of cloisonné world-wide. It is one of China's major contributions to the world's fine arts. The general method for making cloisonné involved first soldering brass wires to the surface of a copper object to form a pattern or illustration, then, according to the requirements of each pattern, colored enamels were filled in.
Enamelware that had been fired then needed to have its surface polished smooth so that the soldered brass wire pattern and the enamel substance were melded into one. Finally, the exposed brass wires between parts of the patterns as well as the rim and the bottom of an object, to which enamel had no been applied, were gold plated. Thus, a work of cloisonné art was finished.
The making of cloisonne is a painstaking process. Each color is separated by the metal wire and then repeatedly filled in with enamel and fired, and then finished with touches of gold. With flower designs on both exterior and interior, this low cloisonne bowl, 5" in diameter 2" in height, suits perfectly for a coffee table display, especially when holding a small quantity of potpourri, water, incense, candles or sage.

"Allow things in your life which make your heart sing, feed your soul or nourish you on a daily basis."
Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Shway) is the ancient Chinese art of placement to enhance the flow of "vital life energy" known as . Practitioners believe that rooms, buildings and all environments can be arranged and decorated in a way that maximizes the flow of Qi and, resulting in improvements to health and happiness of those who live in that environment. Although the translation of Feng Shui basically means "Wind and Water", its scope and breathe are much deeper than this. Feng Shui is an expression of the oneness and interconnectedness of all things on all levels and all dimensions. This is a "key concept" in understanding how our essence relates to everything else around us, including our environment. As we begin to sense this oneness we then find that it is possible to gain insight from looking at our environment on a broader scale. It is often said that "Feng Shui teaches us what we already know".
"A place for everything and everything in its place"
The Art of Feng Shui is just that; an Art. You may have heard that there are several schools of thought in Feng Shui- the Form School, the Compass School and the Intuitve School. Yet another Feng Shui derivative, Blackhat sect is said to have originated in Tibet, is newer, and was introduced to the West by Professor Lin Yun.
Form School is a more traditional Chinese, older form of Feng Shui. This school of feng shui began in southern China. It is based on looking at and evaluating land forms, waterways and geography.
Black Sect Tantric Tibetan School, which has gained popularity in the United States, disregards compass directions. Instead, you stand at and use the entrance of the room, house or office as your main reference point. Then you place objects and other enhancements according to what you aspire to and wish to accomplish.
Both the Form school and the Black Sect are used extensively in the West, and both are good introductions to Feng Shui. The difference is that in Blackhat sect, the career area is centered on the wall that contains the main entrance, while Form school has the career area always in the North.
Compass School is the most predominate practice. The absence of geographical and geological features and the relative flat topography of northern China necessitated the development of the Compass School, which dominates throughout most of the world. This is the traditional, classical feng shui practice which uses either a Chinese (luo pan) or Western-style compass to determine the eight compass directions in a room, office or home. This compass is used to determine the direction in which a building faces, and where the portents will fall based on that direction. Because those directions govern various aspects of your life, you place the corresponding colors, animal symbols, numbers and elements in the areas that you wish to activate.
The ancient text, the I Ching, describes the one universal flow of nature's energy. Feng Shui derives from the ancient Taoist tradition. The I Ching is the definitive text in which all Chinese Metaphysics is based.
It includes a full range of techniques that include Chinese Astrology, compass methods, form methods and divining techniques. Feng Shui utilizes two Chinese astrological systems. These are called the Batzu - or "eight word" (also called "the four pillars"). And the Jyo Hsing - or "nine stars" (also called the "north star method" or "study of Qi").
In Feng Shui, a map called a Bagua is used to maximize the of a given environment. The map divides a room into 9 squares of equal size, with each grid corresponding to a specific "gift" in life, such as health, love, and knowledge. The various schools of thought in Feng Shui all use the bagua in one form or another. The bagua, generally an octagon or square divided into nine areas, which are sometimes referred to as "guas", is superimposed over a floor plan of the building, room or property. Blackhat sect and Form school Feng Shui use essentially the same bagua.
The nine areas of the bagua are (clockwise, from the northern area) career, knowledge, family, wealth, fame, marriage, children, and helpful people. The ninth area is the center. Each area is associated with direction, elements, and I Ching trigram (the ancient system of Divination). In arranging a room, 9 areas are noted to be of special significance. The following table, which cooresponds to the Baqua, illustrates the
relationship of areas in a room (or home) in relation to the room's Main Entrance. Imagine dividing your room
(home, office) into the following 9 areas. We have highlighted the ideal items to enhance the movement of within each location.
Please be aware: these "cures" are, by no means, comprehensive - it is simply offered as a guide to choosing products right for you.
They are as follows:
Career
Direction -- north
Elements -- the color black, and water
I Ching trigram -- K'an (This is the water trigram.)
Knowledge
Direction -- northeast
Elements -- the color blue (black and green may be substituted or used in addition to blue), and earth
Trigram -- Ken (This is the mountain trigram.)
Family
Direction -- east
Elements -- the color green, and wood
Trigram -- Chen (thunder trigram)
Wealth
Direction -- southeast
Elements -- the color purple (blue and red may be substituted or used in addition to purple), and wood
Trigram -- Sun (wind trigram)
Fame
Direction -- south
Elements -- red and fire
Trigram -- Li (fire trigram)
Marriage
Direction -- southwest
Elements -- pink (red and white may be substituted or used in addition to pink) and earth
Trigram -- K'un (earth trigram)
Children
Direction -- west
Elements -- white and metal
Trigram -- Tui (lake trigram)
Helpful People
Direction -- northwest
Elements -- gray (white and black may be substituted or used in addition to gray)
Trigram -- Ch'ien (heaven trigram)
Health
Direction -- the center
Elements -- yellow and earth
Trigram -- none, but it is represented by the Tai Chi symbol which symbolizes balance, the ultimate goal of Feng Shui.
Once the bagua is superimposed over the floor plan, one can see what parts of the building, room or property lie in each area of the bagua. Feng Shui may be begun, using the colors and elements to correct deficiencies or an overabundance of an element.
Deficiencies are corrected by adding the needed element or by using its associated color. An overabundance of an element can be corrected by adding its controlling element, by lessening the element itself, or by using the associated colors. For example, if fire were overabundant, then a water element could be added, thereby bringing fire back into balance. See .
Everything is relative to each other. When using the bagua to determine the Feng Shui layout, start with a floor plan of the building and superimpose the bagua over it, as a whole; then apply the bagua to each individual room.
The most important thing to remember when using the bagua is to be consistent, using the same school of Feng Shui throughout the entire building.
Yin and yang are two words we frequently hear in connection with balance. Yin is generally thought of as being feminine, while yang is considered masculine, But there is much more to this.
-- Yin is also related to the earth, moon, darkness, shade, rest, space, west and north. Yang on the other hand is related to light, sun, brightness, heaven, time, south, east and left.
In ancient times when the daily cycle of night and day were noted, it was thought that day corresponded to yang and yin corresponded to night. Since one usually traveled and worked during the day, yang came to be associated with activity, while yin came to be associated with rest because at night, one rested.
Yin and Yang are looked at in four distinct ways. Yin and Yang are in:
Opposition: in relation/relative to each other.
Interdependent: you cannot have one without the other.
Mutual Consumption: control and balance one another.
Intertransformation: one transforms into the other at it's Zenith.
-Yin and Yang exsist in everything in the Universe in relationship to each other.
The duality of the universe and the world around us is expressed in this "Tai Chi," symbol (often, mistakenly called the Yin/Yang symbol) a circle created by a light and a dark side, positioned end to end with one small circle of yin in yang and yang in yin. This is the presence of its complement. This has been accepted for several thousand years in Chinese philosophy, but the acknowledgment that every male has a feminine aspect, and every female has a male side, is new to the Western mind and medicine. Together, yin and yang comprise a whole, and yet there is an element of each in the other. But sometimes we have too much yang, and other times, we have too much yin. It is up to us to find and maintain the balance between the two in our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, sexual and intellectual selves. Achieving this balance helps us become grounded or centered.
Qi, often referred to as "life force", or "energy" is that which flows through all things. Qi is containing, activating, transporting, protecting and warming. Qi is something that cannot be seen or recorded but yet, inevidably, is upon and within all things.
"Qi is the thread connecting all beings. Qi is the common denominator of all things-from mineral to human. Qi is the fundamental quality of being and becoming."1.
As a concept, which is truly ethereal, it is the most deeply rooted intution in Chinese civilization. Qi is like the wind, a natural element and energy source that is constantly flowing all around us. We cannot see it, but we know it exists by the way it affects the physical around us. Qi is also like water, an energy source that can be governed to where it is needed and be more beneficial to our well-being. At the same time, Qi like water, also cycles constantly from one phase to another. It is a cycle that, if broken or interrupted, will affect everything else that depends on the continuity of this cycle.
Also known as poison arrows or "sha" are sharp angles that focus a point of harmful energy. These arrows are usually projected out from sharp cornered furniture or interior walls. The areas or sites, which are damp, crowded, hollow, flat or have straight lines are objects, which project this "sha" or negative energy. The edges of a neighbor's roof, railway tracks, telephone lines all weaken and create these secret arrows. Even nature creates her own poison arrows, such as rivers running straight and fast, sharp cliffs or vertical gaps in mountain ranges. The general rule states: all organic curving lines in landscape including houses or objects, express flowing Qi. Whereas, straight, rectangular lines attract secret, poison arrows or "sha".
Certain fundamentals of Chinese Medicine must be understood when working with one's constitution. One such fundamental is the Five Phases (Elements) Theory, which states there are five interrelated elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. The following are the ways (or cycles) in which the elements of nature are interrelated. These are the two balanced/physiological cycles:

"Sheng"-Generating/Nourishing (Creative) Cycle
In this cycle, one element generates/nourishes or creates the following element. The nourished element is also known as the child element. The nourishing element is known as the mother element. This is an important aspect of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The pattern is:
* Fire nourishes earth
* Earth nourishes metal
* Metal nourishes water
* Water nourishes wood
* Wood nourishes fire
"Ke"-Controlling/Overcoming (Destructive) Cycle
Even as each element nourishes another, it also controls an element. The controlling element is sometimes referred to as the grandmother element. This cycle is as follows:
* Fire controls metal
* Metal controls wood
* Wood controls earth
* Earth controls water
* Water controls fire
There are two out of balance/pathological cycles:
Overacting Cycle
The overacting cycle is much the same as the controlling cycle, but in the overacting cycle, one of two things has occurred: The controlled element has become weakened (deficient) to the point that the controlling element is now over powering it, or the controlling element has become so strong (excess) that it is suppressing the controlled element.
Insulting Cycle
In this cycle, the controlled element has either become excess to point of rebelling against the controlling element, or the controlling element has become deficient to the point of being overpowered by the controlled element. This cycle is as follows:
* Metal insults fire
* Fire insults water
* Water insults earth
* Earth insults wood
* Wood insults metal
All the elements are mutually inhibitive and at the same time mutually creative: wood creates fire, fire creates earth, earth creates metal, metal creates water, and water creates wood. Conversely, water inhibits fire, fire inhibits metal, metal inhibits wood, wood inhibits earth, and earth inhibits water.

The Year of the Oxen (Ox) - begins on January. 26, 2009
Chinese New Year starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. The 15th day of the new year is called the Lantern Festival, which is celebrated at night with lantern displays and children carrying lanterns in a parade.
Prior to New Year's Day, Chinese families decorate their living rooms with vases of pretty blossoms, platters of oranges and tangerines and a candy tray with eight varieties of dried sweet fruit. On walls and doors are poetic couplets, happy wishes written on red paper. These messages sound better than the typical fortune cookie messages.
