The Intuitive Learning Process

There are three stages our mind goes through in learning to comprehend a situation or idea:

1. Sensory Perception is the process in which we decipher information that is received in the cerebral cortex from the lower sensory or motor area. It is the perceiving or intuitive act that we receive when we see something, touch or feel something, hear or smell something. In turn, we deduct a situation in our minds based on these small, intense discoveries.

2. Surrender is the action of yielding one's person or giving up the possession of something or into the power of another. By letting go, it leaves us exposed, opened, vulnerable, defenseless. Only by surrendering, are we completely and fully able to allow the universe to take over and truly lead us to the most natural and simple path. By allowing this path of least resistance into your life, you receive what is intended!

3. Illumination is receiving power! There is nothing more enlightening than looking at something you do not understand or quit comprehend until that moment when suddenly, it becomes so very clear to you, that you just cannot believe you did not see it in the first place! This self-discovery, or illumination we experience is one of the greatest gifts we can receive. This is due, in many ways, to our sensory perceptions which takes place in this discovery process and the ability to allow ourselves to surrender.

The need to understand the power and place of our mind continues to intrigue all those who wish to grow. Intuition is simply listening to how your heart speaks to your mind. Children are extremely intuitive and utilize this ability daily. As we grow older, it seems that we tend not to trust these feelings, images or concepts from our mind's eye. They almost seem odd, irrational or just something that is hard to believe. The art of tapping into the supersensory powers of your subconscious, is just another way of "paying attention"!

1. Start by maintaining an open-minded. Accept that there are somethings you may not understand. Allow yourself to "see" there are two sides to every story.

2. Have a non-judgmental attitude. Judgement is a destructive emotion. When left unchecked, unresolved or not under control, judgements can wash away the foundation of any insight.

3. Experience being experimental. Practice the art of listening to your hunches. Act upon them. If they are right, look at what seemed to be the reason behind it. Allow mistakes to happen.

4. Allow yourself to be playful. When we tap into our child-like curiosity we are less conscious what others think and are more in tandem with our free mind.

5. Give change an open pathway. Follow along with change as if you are playing a game. Follow along the pathway of change with curiosity, intrigue and the desire to learn it's lesson. Leave your resistance behind.

6. Invite daydreaming. Dream-like states are associated with the subconscious. Allow yourself to look into this window. Write down the images and symbols you recall.

7. Embrace the love of all places, people and things . Remind yourself that we live in each other's hearts and when we look at ourselves we see each other. When we love each other we love ourselves more.

8. Forgiving is the ultimate in acceptance of yourself and others. It revels a path to our true selves. Let there be no bumps in the road to "seeing".

9. Make positive affirmations or suggestions to yourself. This can clear the mind and open up your "inner dialogue".

10. Learn to understand an intuitive impulse . Your intuition can be sparked at any time. When it occurs, make note of the way it happens. What may have triggered it? Is there a physical action associated with it?

This journal can be used for writing down situations and how you have experienced them. These journals are good places to record your positive outlook, your goals for achieving a path to your truths and your daily affirmation. It can allow you to look at that information later for understanding inspiration and guidance.

Creating Your Workbook

1. Upon waking, write down any symbols, images or insight you experienced during dreaming. Write down the general premise of these dreams.

2. It is a good idea to write words associated with these images for later interpretation.

3. At another time, write down the perception of your insights.

4. When working with intuitive information , focus on an empty slate. Accept the process of receiving the information that comes in without judging or trying to understand it in the moment.

5. List what feelings you are holding on to. Are they negative or positive? Explain in your journal.

6. Now learn about the power of letting go of these feelings. Do not assume anything. Write down each day, something new that you find as an intuitive action in doing, seeing, saying, hearing...

7. Understand, it is now time to let go, which you do by____________________... (write them down). Look at it periodically. What impact does it have on your thoughts?

8. Learning to follow your intuition is essential to understanding what is at the root of all action. Find three things when interpreting your insight that makes it a stepping stone to the next level! List them now.

9. Be sure and write the time and day on the top of the page.

Music and Intuition

Music is a magical medium and a very powerful tool. Music can delight all the senses and inspire every fiber of our being. Music has the power to soothe and relax, bring us comfort and embracing joy! Music has to do with listening. That can be listening to sound or listening to silence. Both are extremely relevant when understanding intuition. Intuitive Touch

We already know that the power of touch can register on so many levels of our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Touch therapies are the connection between matter and etheric levels of our energy. We can all sense things through intuition. Try these suggestions:

1. Use different objects. for example, a paper clip, a banana, an apple, a playing card, a pencil and a watch.

2. Take a moment to study each object one at a time. Focus on each shape, color, trait and go over the objects several time. Feel the characteristics of each object.

3. Now it is time to use your sense of touch. Place the objects on a tray. This allows you to move the objects around without touching them.

4. Close your eyes and pick an object to discover. Place your dominant hand over the object. Do not touch the object. Keep your hand above it. Get a sense of what color it is. Is it hot or cold? Do you sense other feelings from the object? Is there tingling? Do you feel something in another part of the body?

5. Pay attention to every impression you get, no matter how strange. These details will eventually help in determining what you feel.

6. Remember, this is not easy. We depend so much on our visual clues, that we "lose sight" of our other senses.

7. Take your time with the object. Do you get a sense of scale under your hands? Does the object feel big or small?

8. Do you feel the shape of the object? What other mental impressions are you getting?

9. Once you know what it is, open your eyes. Was your intuition on track or did you misinterpret your feelings?

10. With practice, you will be able to identify objects by feel. This helps you develop a sense of the energy fields around you.
