Children are extremely intuitive and utilize this ability daily. As we grow older, it seems that we tend not to trust these feelings, images or concepts from our mind's eye. 8. Pay Attention: especially to the little things. Our 6th sense is subtle. It requires our attention on a minuet scale. We tend not to listen or pay attention to the subtle thoughts that cross our mind or body at any given moment. When we do, interpreting these subtleties takes the experience and skills of our own self-perceptions and complete observations. Pay attention to your own process alone and you will be on your way to improve your psychic abilities.

9. Self-discipline: is a difficult process. It takes great energy, thought, will power, self realization, self honesty and pure clarity to be self disciplined in any venture. Tuning into your psychic awareness is no different. This is why most people rather disregard their psychic potential rather then improve on it because they find self-discipline to be hard. Most people do not have the self discipline to follow something as easy as a diet or an exercise schedule. If this is you, working on your psychic abilities will be even more difficult. Self discipline is committing to a task one day at a time.

10. Finding New Perspectives: Developing psychic abilities is about taking your mental and physical experiences and applying a feedback process. Evaluate your process. The Intuition Workbook or Life Workbook, is a great way to bring the power of your thoughts, good energy and a generous way to express your true insight on paper. This journal can be used for writing down situations and how you have experienced them. Creating Your Workbook

1. Upon waking, write down any symbols, images or insight you experienced during dreaming. Write down the general premise of these dreams.

4. When working with intuitive information , focus on an empty slate. Accept the process of receiving the information that comes in without judging or trying to understand it in the moment.

5. List what feelings you are holding on to. Are they negative or positive? Explain in your journal.

6. Now learn about the power of letting go of these feelings. Do not assume anything. Write down each day, something new that you find as an intuitive action in doing, seeing, saying, hearing...

7. Understand, it is now time to let go, which you do by____________________... (write them down). Look at it periodically. What impact does it have on your thoughts?

8. Learning to follow your intuition is essential to understanding what is at the root of all action. Find three things when interpreting your insight that makes it a stepping stone to the next level! List them now.

9. Be sure and write the time and day on the top of the page.

Music and Intuition

Intuitive Touch

We already know that the power of touch can register on so many levels of our physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. Touch therapies are the connection between matter and etheric levels of our energy. The greatest expression of acknowledgement can be as simple as the laying of hands on another to comfort, to love and to heal.

Touch and intuition play an integral part in communication through non-verbal means. There are many modalities of healing that involve touch such as reiki, massage, qigong, acupuncture and medical intuitives.

Judith Orloff MD, psychiatrist and medical intuitive, author of Positive Energy, states "Our bodies express an intuitive code with which we are born, the inner knowledge that we all possess as part of our DNA. Our sense of touch is very powerful. It helps us to attune to different energies. We can touch something with our eyes closed, yet sense what it is. We can do the same thing without physically touching something, but holding our hands above the object.

We can all sense things through intuition. Try these suggestions:

1. Use different objects. for example, a paper clip, a banana, an apple, a playing card, a pencil and a watch.

2. Take a moment to study each object one at a time. Focus on each shape, color, trait and go over the objects several time. Feel the characteristics of each object.

3. Now it is time to use your sense of touch. Place the objects on a tray. This allows you to move the objects around without touching them.

4. Close your eyes and pick an object to discover. Place your dominant hand over the object. Do not touch the object. Keep your hand above it. Get a sense of what color it is. Is it hot or cold? Do you sense other feelings from the object? Is there tingling? Do you feel something in another part of the body?

5. Pay attention to every impression you get, no matter how strange. These details will eventually help in determining what you feel.

6. Remember, this is not easy. We depend so much on our visual clues, that we "lose sight" of our other senses.

7. Take your time with the object. Do you get a sense of scale under your hands? Does the object feel big or small?

8. Do you feel the shape of the object? What other mental impressions are you getting?

9. Once you know what it is, open your eyes. Was your intuition on track or did you misinterpret your feelings?

10. With practice, you will be able to identify objects by feel. This helps you develop a sense of the energy fields around you.
